The coronation night for Señorita Colombia 2022-23 was held on 13th November 2022 at the Convention Center, Julio Cesar Turbay Ayalathe, Cartagena where Sofía Osío Luna, representing Atlántico, was crowned the new winner.

Sofia Osio Luna was born in Barranquilla, Atlántico on 27th May 2000. The 22-year-old beauty is a Professional in Fashion Marketing and Communication from the European Institute of Design in Barcelona. As a second language, Sofia is also fluent in English.

Sofia’s role models are her parents because they have taught her that one must have the strength to fight for their dreams every day without resting on this purpose, and never leaving humility aside. “My ideals, my commitment, my discipline, being a very kind and sensitive person. I consider myself a woman capable of facing any challenge and, when I set myself a goal, I am very constant and I don't rest until I achieve it”, she quotes.

Sofia also wishes to create a foundation dedicated to helping children and women in different aspects of their lives called ‘With Solidarity’, and thus be able to provide a solution to many people who are in a vulnerable state and looking for a helping hand.

On winning the national crown, Sofia took to her official social media as she wrote, “Today a dream, a passion and a commitment materialize. A dream of using the power of my voice to inspire. A passion to fight, to show what we are made of. Thanks to all those people who gave me their support, who lived this path with me and believed in me from the beginning. Thank you to all my queens of the 88th edition of the National Beauty Contest for making this experience unique, for your camaraderie, for showing yourself as you are, real women who fill me with pride and admiration.”

Although this was her first national pageant, Sofia was a stunner since the beginning of the competition. Sofia follows in the footsteps of fellow Atlantico representative Paulina Vega who was crowned Senorita Colombia in 2013 and went on to be crowned Miss Universe 2014 crown.
