Ecuador’s Andrea Aguilera was welcome with great applause after she won the first runner-up position at the finale of Miss Grand International 2021, the 9th edition of the international pageant which was held on 4th December 2021 in DC Hall, Bangkok, Thailand.

Ever since her win as the first runner-up at Miss Grand International and completing a successful reign with crowning the new first runner-up for the 10th edition of Miss Grand International, the pageant fans are wondering whats next for this Ecuadorian beauty.

Just recently, Andrea shared on her Instagram story when a fan asked her, “Your goal is to win Miss Universe?” and Andrea put a gif with a tick Yes. Andrea’s supporters are more than happy for the Ecuadorian beauty’s future plans as she was just 20 years of age when she won the first runner-up position of MGI 2021 which makes her experienced to compete at a stage such as Miss Universe.

A medical student, Andrea has all the qualities that a beauty queen requires to excel at a stage such as Miss Universe. Not new to the pageantry, Andrea won Reina de Ventanas 2018 in Ventanas. In 2019, she represented Los Rios at Miss Earth Ecuador 2019 and competed against eight other candidates at Teatro Sa´nchez Aguilar in Samborondo´n, Guayas, Ecuador and placed fourth.

In 2019, she represented Ventanas at Reina de los Rios 2019 and competed against 11 other candidates at Plazoleta del Maleco´n Eloy Alfaro in Quevedo, Los Rios where she won the title. After this she began her journey in Miss Grand Ecuador 2021 from where she went on to represent Ecuador at Miss Grand International.

With her experience, her stunning beauty and her determination at such a young age, Andrea will surely be a strong contender for the national crown if she decides to compete at the upcoming editions of Miss Universe Ecuador.
