Señorita Panamá Organization, through their social media, announced the appointment of Ivis Nicole Snyder as the new Señorita Panamá 2022. Ivis Nicole Snyder is currently preparing for her stint at Miss International 2022.

Ivis Nicole Snyder is a 25-year-old elementary school teacher and counsellor. She is an abuse and mental health advocate. Ivis was adjudged as the first runner-up at Miss Panama 2021 and since no national competition was held in 2022, her appointment was done by the national organization.

The official statement of Señorita Panamá read –

“The Miss Panama Organization officially announces Miss Ivis Nicole Snyder as the titleholder Miss Panama 2022, applying the right of succession that governs the National Beauty Contest, Miss Panama. Ivis held the position of First Finalist in Miss Panama 2021 and since the national competition did not take place in 2022, her appointment is necessary. Ivis succeeds Miss Panama 2021, Brenda Smith, to whom we wish the greatest success and our gratitude for having raised the name of our country high. On November 29, Ivis Snyder leaves for Japan, to participate in Miss International 2022.”

Recently, visited the official residence of the Ambassador of Japan in Panama, His Excellency Hideo Fukushima. Ivis had the opportunity to learn aspects of Japanese culture and show, together with the president of the Miss Panama Organization, César Anel Rodríguez, the interest in starting exploratory conversations so that in future years our country will host Miss International.
