As ‘India’ was called aloud at Miss Grand International 2019 finale stage on 25th October 2019 in Venezuela, Shivani Jadhav beamed with pride and excitement. The 23-year-old stunning beauty represented her country with absolute sincerity and dedication at the international stage and it’s safe to say, her journey in the pageantry is far from over. In our opinion, Shivani holds immense potential to be India’s representative at Miss Universe in the coming years.

Shivani began her journey in pageantry in 2015 where she participated in Miss Diva Universe 2015 but got eliminated in episode 5 during the preliminary round. Then in 2019, Shivani became a part of Femina Miss India 2019 as she represented her state Chattisgarh and was crowned Miss Grand India 2019 by her predecessor Meenakshi Chaudhary Miss Grand India 2018.

At Miss Grand International 2019, Shivani competed with absolute sportsman spirit and elegance. She was a fashionista and sartorial inspiration on the stage as she waltz through the various stages of the competition. Even though she failed to place in the Top 25 at the finale, she did manage to form a strong impression in the audience’s minds.

Shivani has studied at Jnana Prabodhini Vidyalaya, near Nigdi, Pimpri-Chinchwad and has completed her graduation from MIT College of Engineering in Kothrud. Just recently, Shivani starred opposite Himansh Kohli in a song titled ‘Tenu Vekhi Jaavan’.

After her first international stint, it is imperative to understand how she is going to be pursuing her career in the pageantry and the next step, in our opinion, is definitely to spread her wings and participate in Miss Universe. What is your opinion?
