Miss World America Washington 2020 Shree Saini was honored as Miss World America 2020 Beauty With a Purpose National Ambassador for her distinguished charity work. She has dedicated her life to service and Beauty with a Purpose has inspired her to start creating a positive change by serving over 100 non-profits in the last 10 years.
Shree has been invited to speak about her advocacies in over 8 countries and 30 states. She has received the Child's Rights and You (CRY) Child Rights Champion Award in recognition of ‘exemplary contribution in social service and funds raised for children’. “As a young girl, when I watched contestants around the world be of service in their countries, I knew I wanted to create a huge positive impact”, she said.
Shree’s exemplary contribution to children’s charities is demonstrated by her ongoing work with Make-A-Wish Foundation, granting wishes for children battling critical illnesses. The Foundation acknowledge her BWAP work and congratulated her on becoming a national ambassador.
Shree serves Washington State’s Youth Mentorship Programme throughout the year where she promotes, supports, and expands quality mentoring that helps in positive youth development, academic success and future work.
‘The All God’s Children charity’ has also awarded Shree with the Certificate of Excellence For Outstanding Advocacy Efforts which helps children both in the US and internationally through family preservation, orphan care and adoption.
Shree has also helped troubled young people as an ambassador for the Victoria’s Voice Foundation. She raises awareness on emotional, as well as heart health, at schools, organizations and businesses throughout the United States. In addition, she distributes a Victoria’s Voice book, providing essential medical advice.
Shree has overcome bullying, facial burns and a heart defect in these formative years. She has lived with a heart pacemaker since she was a child and has learnt to regain strength. Her Beauty with a Purpose 2020 project is Heart Health: healing both the physical and emotional hearts. Shree is also an ambassador for the American Heart Association, promoting early heart check-ups to prevent defects being undetected, as happened with her.
