The announcement that Pia’s fans have been waiting for so long, has finally been made. The Philippine Postal Corporation will be releasing a limited number of Stamps featuring Pia Wurtzbach in April. Yes!! This month!! To recognize Pia Wurtzbach's success in bringing home the Miss Universe crown, The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) will be releasing postage stamps and souvenir sheets inspired by her.
Both, the stamps and souvenir sheet will feature a picture of Wurtzbach from her crowning moment last December in Las Vegas. According to a Press Release by the PHLPost, the souvenir sheet of the stamps will feature a tactile glittery texture embossed to enhance the important look and feel of the stamps. "The glitters would be limited to her crown, if when touch, you would feel the rough texture on it."

The Press Release also stated that the stamps will be released after getting approved by Miss Universe Organisation. The PHLPost officer in charge Postmaster General Joel Ottara stated, "The Philippine Postal Corporation takes pride in honoring our very own Ms Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach by immortalizing her with a postage stamp as the third Filipina to win the prestigious and much coveted Miss Universe crown,".
