Stephanie Wong from California won the title of Miss Chinatown USA 2016 held at the Palace of Fine Arts Theater in San Francisco on Feb. 13, 2016.
The lady clinched the crown after defeating 12 other contestants from all over the US, including Miss Chinatowns from Hawaii, Seattle, Houston who took part in the contest.

At the same event, Michelle Wang of San Francisco was adjudged as first runner-up, who has already won the Miss Chinese Chamber of Commerce title. The second runner-up title went to Michelle Lee, Ge Wang was titled as the third runner-up, while, Theresa Nguy was named as the fourth runner-up.
The Miss Chinatown USA pageant, sponsored by Chinese Chamber Of Commerce in San Francisco and based on Chinese communities within the U.S., greets delegates around the country. The pageant has been an annual Lunar New Year event since 1958.
For over 50 years, the young women from throughout the United States come to San Francisco to compete for prizes and scholarships in the annual Miss Chinatown USA Pageant. The winners of this pageant represent the Chinese community and act as ambassadors, promoting Chinese culture and heritage.
