22 years old Sarah is one of the finalists of Miss South Africa 2016 pageant, hailing from Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng. She is currently completing her BCom Honours degree in Industrial Psychology at the University of South Africa.
“I entered Miss South Africa because I believe that there is a reason why each of us are given certain dreams and passions in life. I believe that my passion for children combined with my dream of becoming Miss South Africa is a powerful combination. Essentially, that’s what Miss South Africa is: a beauty with a purpose and a voice for the voiceless. Something I aspire to be with or without a title,” says Sarah.

Former Miss South Africa, Melinda Bam is Sarah’s inspiration. Sarah considers Melinda as a passionate and driven woman who won over the hearts of many South Africans with her warmth and charm. Sarah is highly inspired by Marilyn Ramos, whose testimony inspires her to be bold and to dream big. She gives a message to young aspiring models and says, “We are not racing against each other, we are running this race together. It’s time we started celebrating and encouraging one another.”

Sarah wants to meet Trevor Noah, if she wins the Miss South Africa title. According to Sarah, Trevor’s achievements have inspired young South Africans to dream. DO you think Sarah has what it takes to be the next Miss South Africa?
