Reabetswe Sechoaro Miss South Africa 2016 Finalist

21 years old Reabetswe Sechoaro, finalist of Miss South Africa 2016, hailing from Pretoria East, Gauteng, is a second year student of Bachelor of Commerce (Accounts). She aspires to be the next Miss South Africa and takes the title as a platform to bring in a positive change in the society.

It has been a lifelong dream to wear the crown and make a difference in South Africa and the rest of the world. Being Miss South Africa would allow me to interact with relevant and influential people who will help me to get sponsors and provide the necessary assistance for charities I’d like to support. I believe I understand what it means to be Miss South Africa, to be an ambassador for my country nationally and internationally. I have a bubbly personality, I’m hardworking, generous and am able to interact at all levels. I believe I have what it takes to be Miss South Africa.” says Sechoaro.

She is highly inspired by the benevolence and persona of Bokang Montjane, because the lady still has that charming persona that she had when Reabetswe her met when she was a teenager. She likes her humble, hardworking and passionate nature that has continued to work for the betterment of all, long after taking off the crown.

Sechoaro comes from a family who is supportive of her dreams. Being the only child, she is very pampered.  Her favourite pastime is watching movies and running, she also attends Pilates and spinning classes.

Sechoaro gives out a strong message to youths and aspirants who intend to pursue a career in beauty pageants. “We should stand united and not try to pull each other down. If we encourage each other we can all reach our potential.” Says- Sechoaro.
