Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen comeback series ‘Aarya’ receives high praises as the official trailer reaches 14 million views. The stunning beauty from India is all set to return to screen as her web series ‘Aarya’ will be releasing on Disney Hotstar. The trailer was released just three days ago and has garnered rave reviews and appreciation.

The trailer promises an engaging web series where Aarya (Sushmita Sen) transforms from a dutiful mother and wife to a fierce woman after her husband is shot dead in broad daylight. She takes over his business of illegal medicines and is willing to go to any length to protect her three children.

Sushmita Sen has made a grand comeback with this webseries  as she has spoken “Aarya represents strength, determination and above all vulnerability in a world full of crime, a world run by men. For me, it is the story of family, betrayal and a mother who is willing to go to any length to protect her children. It took me a decade to find a role like this to sink into and I’m thrilled to be a part of this incredible story.”

Aarya is said to be a remake of the Dutch crime thriller titled Penoza.Aarya starring Sushmita Sen, Chandrachur Singh, Namit Das, Sikander Kher, and many more in the pivotal roles. The nine-episode crime drama, produced by Ram Madhvani Films and co-directed by Ram Madhvani, is all set to release on 19th June on Disney+ Hotstar VIP.
