Miss South Africa 2020, the 62nd edition of Miss South Africa, will host its annual edition virtually in the month of August where the next delegate to represent South Africa at international pageants will be crowned. South Africa’s performance at the international beauty pageants has been incredible as the divas have always proven their worth in the competition and with their remarkable performances, they have taken home multiple titles, especially in the recent years.
Rebuilt under ‘Face your power, embrace your future’, stunning beauties will compete for the crown and the opportunities to represent South Africa in Miss Universe 2020, Miss Supranational 2020 and Miss World 2020.
While the official delegates are yet to be announced, there are a few beauties who have shown immense potential to be a part of this year’s national pageant. Anica Myburgh has made it to our wish list along with being the official entrant to be a part of Miss South Africa 2020 with her stunning beauty and grace. She recently sent and uploaded her entry video for the pageant on her social media.
Anica is 27-years-old and is working as a professional model, and a business owner. She has a bachelor’s degree is Life Science and majors in Physiology and Psychology. She explained in her introduction video that a farmer’s daughter who is just 11-years-old is her inspiration for participation at Miss South Africa 2020. Anica was always passionate about beauty pageants but believes that her calling was just now after she met this girl who lives in a farm community where Anica works.
The diva explains that when she turned 27 she felt like her dream to enter Miss South Africa beauty pageant would be a dream but later she got to know that the age requirements of the beauty pageant had changed and she wanted to do better for the society she is living in so, she took a chance and entered the beauty pageant.
Anica strongly believes that the government should invest in the education sector so that the future generation won’t have any troubles in understanding about the society. The diva wishes to use the platform of Miss South Africa 2020 to create opportunities for the children and especially under-privileged children so that she can empower them to reach and work hard for their dreams. She is strong, well-assured, and confident to win the title of Miss South Africa 2020.
Anica has expressed her gratitude towards the love and support she has received for her participation and feels that she can be a strong empowered woman to represent South Africa at Miss Universe 2020 stage. She also thanks her parents for all the support and motivation they have provided her with. She has worked with few designers, brands, and photographers in South Africa which has helped her to work on her skills and abilities to be a better beauty queen in future. She likes to challenge herself because she believes that a good challenge helps her to work harder and she is more focused.
The diva is adventurous and likes to spend her time outside in order to know people and their culture. She is confident, beautiful, and very determined to get selected to compete at Miss South Africa 2020 and be able to win a chance to represent South Africa at international beauty pageants. She is working on her on-stage walk, body postures and angles and most importantly on her interview skills which is very essential part of any beauty pageants.
