Miss Nederland organization has selected about 100 girls who will move forward at the 2021 edition of the national edition to be held soon. Miss Nederland 2021 will crown the winner to represent Netherlands in Miss Universe 2021.

Among the selected girls is Suzan Lips who is all set to embark on a new journey with new opportunities and dreams. Suzan Lips has just returned from Thailand after representing her country at Miss Grand International 2020.

Suzan, on why she wishes to embark on this journey, says, “What I personally love about pageants is that it gives women a platform. A platform to fight and give more attention to what they really think is important in life. Misses are incredibly hardworking, intelligent and beautiful women who want to contribute to a more beautiful world.”

Suzan’s advocacy has always been about more love and respect for the LGBTQ + community. It is her absolute dream to start her own skin practice focused on the transformation of transgender people. “I have seen my brother's transformation (my brother was born a woman) how much there is for specialist care in the Netherlands and would love to provide this! I don't think anything better than helping people find themselves and making sure they can go through life as themselves”, she quoted.

The diva is not new to beauty pageants as she entered the beauty pageant world when she was 25 years old and was adjudged as the second runner-up at Miss Beauty of the Netherlands 2019. She followed pageantry for a long time on social media and always admired the beauty queens for their elegance. Suzan explained that she feels that beauty queens come across as powerful, intelligent, and confident women who set a good example for the younger generation.

With all the international experience under her belt, Suzan will definitely be an ideal delegate to represent Netherlands at a platform such as Miss Universe.
