Miss South Africa 2020, the 62nd edition of Miss South Africa, will host its annual edition soon as the organization will be hosting a virtual pageant this year in wake of the corona virus pandemic. Rebuilt under ‘Face your power, embrace your future’, stunning beauties will compete for the crown and the opportunities to represent South Africa in Miss Universe 2020 and Miss World 2020.

As the applications have now opened, we have prepared our wishlists for the national pageant and one of them is Tamsyn Jack from Somerset West, Western Cape and currently resides in Midrand, Gauteng. Tamsyn is 23 years of age and is a food science & biochemistry graduate from the University Of Stellenbosch.

The stunning South African beauty is a food scientist and owner of Kultured Health South Africa. She is also a Digital Marketer at Version Eight, a Business Accelerator Agency. Being so accomplished at such a young age, Tamsyn has shown immense potential to be a representative of South African women who symbolize courage, determination and sheer will power.

Tamsyn also writes on a blog called ‘A Way in the Wilderness’ where she talks Philanthropy with views on life, love and relationships. Tamsyn is a creative person and enjoys cooking, painting and playing around with the ideas. She is a spontaneous person who entered for Sarie Voorbladgesig in 2016 and Miss Maties Varsity Cup, making the top 10 for both, along with many amazing friends.

Tamsym also talks about concepts of beauty and self-love in her blogs and social media. “Society does this ugly thing where it places too much importance on what you look like. Being beautiful has so much more depth to it than just your outer appearance. We are teaching young girl's dangerous message when we post half naked pictures on Instagram and this photo gets infinitely more likes than other sorts of photos”, she says.
