Miss World calling for Tejaswini Manogna?

21 Apr 2020 | Priya Bhardwaj

Tejaswini Manogna rose to fame as she was crowned Miss Earth India 2019 at Miss Divine Beauty 2019 and became the official representative of India at Miss Earth 2019. Tejaswini, a doctor by profession, represented India at Miss Earth 2019 but unfortunately remained unplaced, much to the disappointment of the audience who considered her a mega favourite for the crown.

Now, with the onset of corona virus and its rampant spread throughout the world, there are chances that all the national organizations will appoint their delegates to compete in the international events. If that happens, in our opinion, Tejaswini Manogna will be the ideal choice to represent India at Miss World 2020 with her reign as Miss Earth India 2019 soon.

Tejaswini has a long list of achievements accredited to her name, the most important being her profession. She’s a doctor and we all know how well doctors have done at Miss World such as Miss World 2014 Rolene Strauss or Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar or Miss England 2019 Bhasha Mukherjee among many.

Tejaswini completed her schooling from the Rosary Convent High School and was a member of the National Cadet Corps, a youth wing of the Indian Armed Forces. At the young age of 16, she was adjudged as 'India's Best NCC Cadet' and 'Best Shooter' among 1.3 million cadets of the Indian Air Force, Army and Navy. She was conferred with the Young Achiever award at the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation meet in Sri Lanka and in 2017, she received a graduation degree in medicine (MBBS) from the Osmania Medical College.

Tejaswini is also a trained ‘Bharatanatyam’ dancer making her even more graceful. Her pageant career began when she participated in Miss Diva 2017 but unfortunately could not win the crown. Last year, she won the right to represent India at Miss Earth 2019. All of this experience will also be useful for her if she gets the opportunity to represent her country at Miss World.

With her incredible advocacy, out of the world communication skills, elegance, class and community serving attitude, Tejaswini can win the Miss World crown in our opinion. Aside from the mainstream roles, Tejaswini is surely the one who can do something for the society as she is already doing so much good work with her advocacy even without an international crown. What are your thoughts?
