The reigning Miss Earth Jamie Herrell is on a roller coaster ride. Well, of course not literally, but the lady is travelling the world in full swing and yesterday (September 23’ 2015), Jamie attended an event in Austria; which is also the venue for the Miss Earth 2015 finale. Jamie’s motive for the visit to Austria is to promote the country to the world as the most eco-friendly country in Europe.
The event was in the celebration of 15 years of the Miss Earth organisation that channelizes the beauty pageants as an effective tool to promote environmental awareness. Jamie’s first official appearance in Austria was on MADONNA Magazine’s La Donna Fair for Women 30th Anniversary event, that was held yesterday.
The La Donna – Fair for Women is going to be a week long event. The first day event was Celebrity Charity Fashion Show, which was to benefit the "Dancer Against Cancer" campaign. Prominent personalities from business, culture, comedy and television walked the runway for a good cause on the La Donna catwalk including Sophie Totzauer, Miss Earth Austria 2015, and Katja Wagner, Miss Earth-Air 2013.
The finale of Miss Earth 2015 is scheduled to be held on December 5’ 2015. The finale will be telecast live and Live streamed worldwide via internet.
