Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 is progressing towards its finale with a series of preliminary events and announcement of special awards prior to crowning the winner on 4th November 2017.
The traditional costume contest was held on 26th October 2017, and Carolina Castillo from Panama won the Best Traditional Costume award. María Victoria D'Ambrosio Díaz from Venezuela and Teresita Ssen Marquez from Philippines also made it to Top 3 finalists in the traditional costume contest.

After the traditional costume round, Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 beauty gala took place on 27th October 2017 at Infinity Events in La Paz, Bolivia, and some of the special awards were given at the event.
From the 27 beauties competing for the title, Gabriela Orellana from El Salvador won the award for Best Hair, Lorena Larriviere from Peru won the title Chica Amaszonas and Akisha Albert from Curaçao won the Miss Elegance award.

The second beauty gala took place on 30th October 2017, and four more special awards were given at the event. The winners of these awards were -
Best Model (Mejor Modelo) - Akisha Albert from Curaçao
Best Smile (Mejor Sonrisa) - Kristina Velez Toledo from Puerto Rico
Best Figure (Miss Silueta) - Katherine Añazgo Orozco from Bolivia
Chica Lpanema - Teresita Ssen Marquez from Philippines
