At the conclusion of the finale of Miss Peru Universe 2018 held at the Municipal Theater in Lima on 29th October 2017, Romina Lozano Saldaña was crowned as Miss Peru Universe 2018 and will now represent Peru in Miss Universe 2018 to be held next year. She bested twenty-seven other contestants to clinch the title. She was crowned by the Priscila Stephany Howard, who is the representative of Peru for Miss Universe 2017.
The 20-year-old beauty, who represented the province of Callao in the competition, stands tall at 178 cm and has the modelesque figure of 90-63-93. Besides pursuing modelling, she is also a student of nutrition. After winning the title, Romina expressed her happiness by saying, “Infinite thanks to all those who were supporting me in different ways, I will always have it in my heart”.
At the same event, Andrea Moberg from Loreto was declared as the first runner-up and will represent Peru in Miss Grand International 2018 and Kelin Rivera from Arquipa was declared as the second runner-up and will now compete in Miss Supranational 2018.
Peru recently won Miss Grand International 2017 pageant, when María José Lora was crowned as the winner at the finale held in Vietnam on 25th October' 2017. Also, Priscila Stephany Howard, who was appointed as Miss Peru Universe 2017, is already amongst favourites of many pageant experts to win the title.
