In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot revealed that she didn’t want to win Miss Universe back in 2004. At the age of 18, she was a reluctant beauty queen who competed for the Miss Universe title in 2004, which was eventually won by Jennifer Hawkins of Australia.

It was Gadot’s mother who forced her to join the Miss Israel pageant back then. She was just 18 years old then, who passed her high school graduation. She never thought, she would win but the victory scared her even more.

Gadot revealed that she prepared herself in a way not to win the MU pageant after that. The 5’10” Gadot looked very differently from when she won the Miss Israel pageant. She was sported in unflattering curls, in Ecuador, where the MU pageant was held.

Gal admits that during the 2004 Miss Universe pageant held in Ecuador, she turned “naughty”. She further said, “I wasn’t behaving. I’m a really good girl but because I was afraid I would win again…I didn’t want them to choose me again, I came late in all the rehearsals and I wasn’t wearing the right evening gowns for breakfast.”

Gal who is now known for her role in The Fast & Furious franchise, recently starred in her own super heroine movie Wonder Woman. She was first introduced in Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, where she stole every scene she was in. She is now all set to star in several more movies wearing the Wonder Woman costume.
