Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa is having the best time in the Philippines. By bringing home the sixth Miss International crown, Kylie has won many accolades and has managed to gather a good amount of fan following. Taking up her duties seriously, Kylie has been continuing with her duties as the reigning queen.

The beauty queen recently visited children in Quezon City for a special book-giving and storytelling session. She even shared few moments with the children of Balara Elementary School. “I had fun with the kids of Balara Elementary School. Kids these days are smarter, brighter, faster in absorbing information than before! (Not to mention technologically adept!)Had so much fun reading and you made me sweat trying to read everything in Tagalog! I encourage children to read, for it is essential to the mind,” said Kylie.

After her visit to the Balara Elementary School, Kylie went back to her hometown in Baguio for a homecoming and charity dinner. Kylie was overwhelmed with the astounding homecoming parade. She travelled around in a flower-decked float, donning a purple Terno. Her chariot was decorated with flowers in the form of the coveted Miss International crown. A huge crowd of fans gathered to witness the homecoming.

Kylie is aiming to put up a foundation that would deal with depression and spread suicide awareness. Kylie said she is excited to be home and hopes to be in the city more often despite her hectic schedule.
