Anicia Gaothusi was crowned Miss Botswana 2024 on 23rd March 2024 held in Tlokweng as she became the official representative of Botswana at 72nd Miss World. Anicia Gaothusi was crowned by Lesego Chombo who recently reached the Top 4 at 71st Miss World and won the title of Miss World Africa.

Anicia Gaothusi is 22 years of age and hails from Tutume. She is a student of Gaborone University College of Law and Professional Studies. Not new to the pageantry, she previously held the title of Miss Teen Botswana 2019. With her charming personality, Anicia will be a strong contender of Botswana at 72nd Miss World.

The newly crowned Miss Botswana 2024 Anicia Gaothusi’s court included –

1st Runner-Up – Halle Hirschfeld

2nd Runner-Up – Sebaga Manyapetsa

Anicia has huge shoes to fulfill with Lesego Chombo as her predecessor. Lesego not only won the Miss World Africa continental crown, she also performed excellently at the pre-pageant activities of recently concluded 71st Miss World. The 72nd Miss World will be held later this year or next year where Krystyna Pyszkova of Czech Republic will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
