Jimena Sosa was crowned Miss International Paraguay 2023 at the finale of Reinas del Paraguay 2023 held in June last year. With her win, Jimena became the official representative of Paraguay at Miss International 2023 and has been preparing to represent the country at the international platform since then.

Jimena Sosa gave a stellar performance at the national contest. She is not new to the pageant world as she was crowned Miss Grand Paraguay 2021 and represented Paraguay at Miss Grand International 2021 but did not place in the Top 20. With her experience, her charming personality, Jimena will be strong contender for Miss International 2024 crown.

On winning the crown, Jimena took to her official social media as she thanked everyone and expressed her emotions in a post captioned, “I still can’t believe so much excitement. I thank God, my family, everyone who placed their trust in me. Thank you Reinas Paraguay, thank you for giving me the opportunity to fulfill this dream. Thank you, friend, for giving me all your support in this process. And to each of the professionals who with so much love, believed in me and gave me their support without hesitation. Miss International Paraguay.”

Jimena succeeds Miss International Paraguay 2022 Jazmín de la Sierra who represented Paraguay at Miss International 2023 but remained unplaced at the finals. Paraguay is yet to pioneer its win at Miss International competition.

The 62nd edition of Miss International will be held on 12th November 2024 in Tokyo, Japan where Miss International 2023 Andrea Rubio of Venezuela will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
