The 26th edition of Miss Mundo Nicaragua i.e. Miss Mundo Nicaragua 2020, hosted its coronation night yesterday i.e. 15th February 2020 at Holiday Inn Hotel, Managua at 7:00 pm which was broadcasted by Vos Tv. Sheynnis Palacios of Managua was crowned the new queen by Miss Mundo Nicaragua 2019 María Teresa Cortéz.
Sheynnis Palacios performed with absolute grace and excellence at the national contest. Not new to the pageantry, she was Miss Teen Nicaragua 2016 as she represented the country in different fashion and beauty events. With her previous experience as Miss Teen Nicaragua 2016, Sheynnis explained that she has learned to be more responsible, mature and punctual but most importantly she has learnt that dreams do come true and every effort has its reward. The stunning beauty was also a part of our Top favourites for the crown.
Sheynnis Palacios has a very different perspective towards life as she has been working with “Smile that teach” campaign. The aim of this campaign is to raise awareness among different public and media with an aim to find new patients in her respective country who can be treated at Smile Nicaragua Operation Centre and offer them a complete free treatment that leads to an optimal state for the surgery.

Second runner-up - Fernanda Salazar of Managua
Third runner-up - Dayana Cuadra de Masaya
Fourth runner-up - Masielis Bravo de Chontales
Fifth runner-up - Odalys Rodríguez de Chinandega
Apart from the crown, some special awards were also announced at the finale night -
Fernanda Salazar from Managua was adjudged the award for Miss Photogenic.
Dayana Cuadra from Masaya was adjudged the award for Miss Body.
Sheynnis Palacios from Managua was adjudged the award for Miss Social Media and beauty with purpose.
Maselis Bravo from Chontales was adjudged the award for Nica Pride Miss Prize.
Madelin Villavicencio from Carazo was adjudged the award for Miss Sympathy.
