Here is something that will evoke a kind of mixed emotion in you. Yes, happy, surprise, and shock all kinds of feeling!! If rumours are to be believed, Miss Venezuela 2015 first runner-up Gessica Fiume Turri will represent Venezuela at the Miss World 2016 pageant. Yes, you heard that right.

Gessica was the first runner-up at the Miss Venezuela 2015 pageant, which was eventually won by Mariam Habach. Now that’s a good news that Gessica has been chosen as Venezuela’s representative for Miss World 2016, but the question is that, is there going to be no Miss Mundo Venezuela pageant this year? Since the country has appointed a representative, for which there has been no official confirmation or announcement though, but if the rumours are true then 2016 will not have any Miss Mundo Venezuela pageant.
The next question that pops up is that what could be the reason behind this decision? Since, no official announcement was made on the same, there are no reasons yet that can complement the verdict.
