Lindita Idrizi has been crowned as Miss Universe Albania 2016 at the end of Miss Universe Albania 2016 pageant held on June 2’ 2016 at Revista Who, in Tirana, Albania. She was crowned by her predecessor Miss Universe Albania 2015, Megi Luka. Lindita was also among our Top 10 favourites for the crown.
The 19 years old Albanian beauty queen will now represent Albania at the coveted 65th edition of Miss Universe 2016 pageant slated to be held later this year.

This year a total number of 28 contestants competed for the coveted title of Miss Universe Albania 2016, and Lindita Idrizi managed to clinch the esteemed crown after defeating 27 other beautiful aspirants.
Lindita Idrizi belongs to Elbasan City. The beauty queen is inclined towards art, and that is the reason she chose to study flute music. She likes modeling, photography and acting. She is an ace in the field of modeling. Whenever she performs in front of the camera, her calm and poised body makes her look more gorgeous. She has become the part of many catwalks and has also participated as a model in several television commercials.
Lindita Idrizi was also the favourite to win the crown from the beginning.
Owned by the celebrated Albanian-American fashion photographer, Fadil Berisha, the Miss Universe Albania pageant was established in the year 2006 in Tirana, Albania. And the pageant is not related to Miss Albania, Miss Shqipëria or Miss Shqiptarja.

The first Albanian delegate to represent at the Miss Universe pageant was Anisa Kospiri, who ended up as one of the top 10 finalists at the Miss Universe 2002. Until 2010, she held the record of the highest placing Albanian candidate in the Miss Universe pageant. In 2010, an absolutely stunning Angela Martini cracked the Top 10. The famous Fashion Photographer and Miss Universe Organization Official Photographer Fadil Berisha is the National Director of the Miss Universe Albania pageant.
