Esther Houdement was crowned as the Miss Normandie 2016, after defeating 15 other contestants who competed for the title, and succeeded Miss Normandie 2015 Daphne Bruman. At the same pageant Nora Bell of Manche was placed as the 1st runner up, Andrea Jaussaud of Calvados was adjudged to be the 2nd runner up, Berengere Leclerre of Seine Maritme was announced as the 3rd runner up, and Gwenaelle Legendre of Orne finished as the 4th runner up.

The stunner is 19 years of age and stands at a towering height of 173 centimetres. The slender beauty looks gorgeous and has a strong chance of winning the competition with her elegance and determination. She was encouraged by the first elected official of Normandie saying, “Esther thank you for making us dream in a world so complicated sometimes, that your dynamism, your balance, your spread give us the freshness we so need.”

After Miss France 2009 Malika Menard of Normandie, no other contestant from the province has won the Miss France title. Do you think Esther Houdement has what it takes to become Miss France 2015 Iris Mittenaere’s successor?
