Emiri Shimizu crowned Miss Supranational Japan 2020

At the grand finale of Miss Supranational Japan 2020 held last night at 3 PM (Tokyo Time), Miss Gunma 2020 Emiri Shimizu was crowned the new queen and became the official representative of Japan at Miss Supranational 2020. Emiri Shimizu Miss Gunma 2020 bested twenty-two other delegates to win the national crown. She gave a strong performance throughout the competition and was a crowd favourite ever since the beginning. With her stunning beauty, Emiri will surely be a strong contender for the international crown.

The newly crowned Miss Supranational Japan 2020 Emiri Shimizu’s court included –

1st runner-up – Miss Higashi Tokyo 2020 Mariko Nakagawa.

2nd runner-up – Miss Chiba 2020 Anna Fujishiro

The finale was attended by the former queens Miss Supranational Japan 2015 Mieko Takeuchi, Miss Supranational Japan 2016 Risa Nagashima, Miss Supranational Japan 2017 Yuki Koshikawa, Miss Supranational Japan 2018 Yurika Nakamoto and Miss Supranational Japan 2019 Top Model Yurika who all graced the stage with their presence and helped the contestants.

Last year, Miss Supranational Japan 2019 Natsumi Takenaka represented Japan at Miss Supranational 2019 but unfortunately could not place in the Top 25. The country is yet to pioneer its win in Miss Supranational.
