The candidates of the 2016 Miss Universe pageant paraded the city of Baguio in Philippines this morning in grand flower floats that were especially made for them. The beauties were able to see the locals cheer for them and welcome them by showering love, as they moved across the city waving to them amidst the clicking of photographs. There were four floats namely Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, each with the Miss Universe 2016 delegates, and another one named as Baguio Country Club, for the Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach. Apart from them, the committee chairman Luis Chavit Singson and the president of Miss Universe Organization Paula Shugart also graced the parade. The parade started at 11 o’ clock and one could see the excited locals throughout the way from the Upper Session, through DILG and Panagbenga Park, to the South Drive and ended at the Baguio Country Club.

Among the candidates were Miss Australia Caris Tiivel, Miss Colombia Andrea Tovar, Miss Peru Valeria Piazza, Miss Puerto Rico Brenda Jimenez, Miss Spain Noelia Freire, Miss Albania Lindita Idrizi, Miss Miss Aruba Charlene Leslie, Miss Barbados Shannon Harris, Miss France Iris Mittenaere, Miss Guam Muneka Joy Cruz Taisipic, Miss Haiti Raquel Pelissier, Miss Israel Yam Kaspers Anshel, Miss Italy Sophia Sergio, Miss Kenya Mary Esther Were, Miss Korea Jenny Kim, Miss Kosovo Camila Barraza, Miss Malta Martha Fenech, Miss Mauritius Kushboo Ramnawaj, Miss New Zealand Tania Dawson, Miss Norway Christina Waage, Miss Slovenia Lucija Potocnik, Miss South Africa Ntandoyenkosi Kunene, Miss Sweden Ida Ovmar, and Miss US Virgin Islands Carolyn Carter.
