Beauty pageants every year come and go, but there are few moments that capture our heart and mind forever. There are moments when a candidate wins over our heart, and one such incident happened when Miss Universe Bulgaria 2016 Violina Ancheva did the sweetest thing.

Violina, before returning to Bulgaria on Tuesday, donated her Sherri Hill gown that she wore at the finals. The beauty announced she would pass on her Sherri Hill gown to a girl who needs a prom dress. Each contestant was given a gown as a gift from the designer.
Ancheva made the announcement on her official Facebook page. “Dear friends, I would like to give as a present my Miss Universe Gown (on the picture) to one of you that really want it and need it. I want to give the dress to a girl in need that can’t buy a dress for her prom the next month,” she wrote.
There were thousands of entries for the gown, but Ancheva chose 15 year old daughter of a single mother, Issay Gallano. Gallano said she messaged Ancheva, but did not expect a reply from the beauty queen. Gallano’s daughter Zyra Nicole Cifra is attending her prom in few weeks, but her mother who is the only bread earner, couldn’t afford to buy a ball gown. "I was checking my SSS (Social Security System) already so I can buy her a dress because she really wanted a memorable prom this year. And then this necklace I'm ready to pawn this just to add to the budget," Gallano said.
Bulgarian beauty, Violina Ancheva said she feels blessed to have been a part of the beauty pageant. She thought of another happy moment from her childhood and remembered her high school prom. It’s then that the Bulgarian beauty queen felt she had to share the blessing. "I know how she feels and I'm happy I gave it to you, and your daughter will have the best dress of the evening," Ancheva told an emotional Gallano.
Ancheva was also really eexcited to have been a part of something so big. The beauty queen shared her feeling and said, "This is probably the most beautiful thing that I have ever done for somebody, the most touching thing.”
