The debut edition of Miss Universe Korea was held on 27th August 2023 at Grand Walkerhill Seoul, Walkerhill-ro, Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, South Korea where Kim So-Yun was crowned Miss Universe Korea 2023. Kim will now prepare to represent South Korea at Miss Universe 2023.

Kim So-Yun succeeds and was crowned by Miss Universe Korea 2022 Hanna Kim. Kim gave a stellar performance at the national competition with her stunning beauty and charming personality.

Also at the end of the event finale, Kim Seoyoung and Yu Jeongyeon were adjudged as the first runners-up while Choi Eunkang, Park Seyeon and Park Sori were adjudged as the second runners-up.

A number of special awards were also presented at Miss Universe Korea 2023; Miss Photogenic was awarded to Song Yeonji, Miss Friendship went to Jeong Yunjeong, Miss Hyperbrain was awarded to Kim Hyeji, Best Dressed went to Jeong Yunjeong, Miss Talent was awarded to Lee Jin-ah, Rising Star went to Choi Yunhee and The Look C&C went to Kim Nari.
