Miss Queen Portugal organization, through their official social media, announced that no national competition will be held this year considering the calendar forecasts for Miss Universe 2022. The annual schedule of the CNB Portugal organization
The organization, thus, crowned Telma Madeira as Miss Universe Portugal 2022 on the program Conversa de Mulheres. She was crowned by Jackie Carvalho, the director of CNB Portugal. Telma succeeds Miss Universe Portugal 2021 Orícia Dos Santos.
It was a dream come true for the pageant fanatics who have been eagerly waiting for Telma to represent Portugal at Miss Universe stage. Not new to the pageant world, Telma is former Miss Earth Portugal who represented Portugal at Miss Earth 2018 where she was adjudged Top 8 at the event finale.
On being crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2022, Miss Queen Portugal organization took to their official social media as they wrote, “Telma Madeira was today crowned Miss Universe Portugal 2022 on the program Conversa Mulheres! In the midst of so much emotion, this moment was celebrated in the presence of Jackie Carvalho, the Director of @cnbportugaloficial. Letícia Silva and also had the support of the entire team.”
