For those who have no any idea about what happened at the 2015 Miss Universe Beauty Pageant, the host of the show Steve Harvey messed up the names of the Miss Philippines, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach the actual winner and Miss Colombia, Ariadna Gutierrez the first runner up while reading out the winner from the cue card.
Later, realizing his terrible mistake Steve apologized for the goof up, leaving Miss Colombia shattered as she had to give up the crown to the rightful winner Miss Philippines.
Miss World 2000 Priyanka Chopra from India was at a promotional event for her upcoming Bollywood film, when she was heard saying, “It was so bad yaa. I don’t know how I would have reacted had I been in Miss Colombia’s place. I still can’t get over the whole issue,” she said, sounding genuinely upset at Miss Colombia’s predicament.
Priyanka Chopra is the Miss World 2000, a successful Indian film actress, a very popular celebrity in India and also an international singer. She was crowned Miss World 2000 on Nov 30' 2000 when she was just 18, becoming the youngest contestant in the history of Miss World to win the pageant.
