Simone Freitag has been crowned Miss Mundo Paraguay 2016 at the culmination of the dazzling ceremony held on August 6’ 2016 in Encarnacion, Paraguay. Simone will now represent Paraguay at the Miss World 2016 pageant which is scheduled to be held in Washington D.C in the month of December.

The sizzling hot beauty queen Simone was crowned by Giovanna Cordeiro Miss World Paraguay 2015 who represented Paraguay at the sixty-fifth Miss World 2015, wherein Mireia La Laguna Royo from Spain, Barcelona emerged as the winner. Simone clinched the crown after defeating seventeen other young women who battled it out for the 2016 Miss World Paraguay title.
At the same pageant, Vanessa Ramírez has been crowned as Miss Earth Paraguay 2016. Jessica Torres was adjudged first runner-up, Atenas Aranda was titled second runner-up, Camila Ayala was titled third runner-up, Sannie Méndez made it to the third runner-up and Dahiana Petta finished as fourth runner-up.
In addition to announcing the winners and the runners-up, a series of Special Awards were also awarded to the contestants under the following category –

It was the very first edition of Miss World 2016 Paraguay after the organization decided to create separate events for the two most important competitions in the world - Miss Universe and Miss World. The scintillating ceremony was televised live by the Paraná TV.
