Witney Shikongo was crowned as Miss Angola 2015 at the gala event held on Belas Conference Centre, the Futungo. At the national pageant, Witney competed alongside twenty five other contestants and managed to impress the jury. Zuleica Wilson (Miss Angola 2014) crowned Witney at the conclusion of the coronation gala.

The winner  went on to represent Angola at the Miss Universe 2015 beauty contest. Miss Angola is the national pageant of Angola. It selects winners to compete in internationally renowned beauty pageants of the world such as Miss Universe, and Miss World.

Witney Shikongo received a Car, Mobile gadgets, and Makeup gift hampers a watch and a check worth USD 1,500. Witney Shikongo also won the Miss Congeniality award. At the same event, Andreia Dias, from the province of Luanda was elected as the 1st Lady of Honour and Miriam Rodrigues, Miss Angola UK was elected as the 2nd Lady of Honour. Tania Joseph, representative of Namibe province received the Miss Photogenic award.
