The Miss Colombia 2014 or Concurso Nacional de Belleza de Colombia held its 80th edition on 17 November 2014 at Cartagena de Indias. A total of twenty six (26) contestants participated in the pageant. The beauties from different regions then participated in colorful pre pageant activities. Among the events planned for the celebration of the 80th Anniversary of National Competition Belleza, candidates made a visit to the facilities of the Technological University of Bolivar, where they interacted with the kids and danced alongside performers who welcomed them. The contestants were accompanied by Miss Colombia 2013, Paulina Vega Diappa who will represent Colombia in Miss Universe 2014.
One of the pre pageant events was the fashion parade, the Candidates participated in the Belleza National Competition and the current Miss Colombia Paulina Vega Dieppa lead the way for the contestants, with her participation in the traditional festival of University Professionals Club Cartagena. From 10:00 pm, the beauties arrived at Fishermen's Hall II, where they were received by the Board and other club members. Subsequently, the candidates paraded beautiful and colorful outfits by designer Leah Samantha, accessories and footwear by Andrea Cruz Asoinducals.

On the eight day of the pre pageant activities, the contestants of Miss Colombia accompanied the participants in the ‘Race of Heroes’, which saw veterans from the military. The event was held in the Plaza de la Aduana, the national queens performed aerobics routine with runners of the competition.
Miss Colombia 2014 (Concurso Nacional de Belleza de Colombia 2014) pageant organized a special awards contest during the preliminary activities, which saw twenty-six stunning ladies of Miss Colombia 2014 being awarded in varying categories. The contestants were awarded on the basis of their figure, national costume, face, elegance, punctuality, photogenic qualities and much more.

At the finals pageant night of Miss Colombia 2014 held on November 17’ 2014 in the city of Cartagena de Indias, Ariadna María Gutiérrez Arévalo from Sucre has been crowned Miss Colombia 2014 by her predecessor Paulina Vega Dieppa. Ariadna will now represent Colombia at Miss Universe 2015.
