Miss Suomi 2016 (Miss Finland 2016) was held on 13th May 2016 where Shirly Karvinen was crowned the new queen and became the official representative of Finland at Miss Universe 2016. The outgoing Miss Suomi Rosa-Maria Ryyti passed on her crown and her title to her successor at the end of the event finale.

At the same event, Heta Sallineni was adjudged the first runner up and will now represent Finland at the Miss World 2016 pageant while Emilia Seppänen finished as the second runner-up and will now represent Finland at the Miss International 2016.
