Miss Nederland 2015 (Miss Netherlands 2015) which will end up with crowning of Miss Universe Netherlands and Miss World Netherlands has commenced with announcement of Top 12 finalists. The two winners will represent Nederland (Netherlands) at Miss Universe 2015 and Miss World 2015 international pageants. Top 12 finalists competing for the two titles are Adriana Mosk, Lisa Michels, Floortje Brand, Dounia Rijkschroeff, Leila Aigbedion, Margot Hanekamp, Marissa Klouwer, Elise Winklaar, Jessie Jazz Vuijk, Rosy Gijsen, Janike Altena, and Danique Verdonk.

Miss Nederland organization received over 3,000 applicants for participation in the national pageant, out of which 100 girls were shortlisted and called for the final auditions & casting on March 1' 2015 at Studio 21 in Hilversum.

After initial screening, Top 25 were selected by the jury which also included Miss World Netherlands 2014 Tatjana Maul. One of the Top 25 semifinalists was selected through online voting, and the winner of online voting was Lysanne Lakerink. After the final screening, the Top 12 finalists were announced.

The previous edition of the national pageant, Miss Nederland 2014 was held on December 8' 2013, when Yasmin Verheijen was crowned Miss Universe Netherlands 2014, and Tatjana Maul was crowned Miss World Netherlands 2014. Both the beauties were able to make their mark at their respective international pageants.

Yasmin Verheijen finished as the third runner-up at the Miss Universe 2014 pageant held on January 25' 2015 in Doral, Miami which was won by Paulina Vega of Colombia. And Tatjana Maul made it to Top 25 at Miss World 2014 pageant held in London, UK on December 14' 2014 which was won by Rolene Strauss of South Africa. She also made it to Top 5 of Miss World Multimedia and Top 10 of Miss World Beauty with a Purpose.
