Miss Earth New Zealand 2017 was held on 27th May 2017. Miss Earth New Zealand 2017 pageant concluded with the crowning of the stunning Abby Sturgin. Miss Earth New Zealand 2016 Janelle Nicholas Wright crowned her successor on the finale night. At the same pageant, Zoom Fitton was crowned as Miss Earth New Zealand Air 2017, Nicole Gomes was crowned as Miss Earth New Zealand Water 2017 and Ayu Candradewi was crowned as Miss Earth New Zealand Fire 2017.

The finalists showed their charisma and beauty throughout to win the title. Every finalist graced the stage by wearing beautiful gowns to mesmerize everyone present at the event but Abby Sturgin was lucky enough to win the hearts of the judges and audiences. The contestants went through the amazing National Costume round and swimwear round.
