Miss Global Philippines 2018 : Info

Miss Global Philippines 2018 finale was held on 4th August 2018 at Cove Manila in Parañaque City, Metro Manila. Reigning queen, Miss Global Philippines 2017 Mary Ann Mungcal, crowned Eileen Gonzales as her successor and Miss Global Philippines 2018 at the conclusion of the event. Eileen will be Philippines' representative at Miss Global 2018 international beauty pageant.

Cheska Viñas, Nicole Shaye Dichoso, Charlene Duran and Alexandra Moraga were adjudged the first, second, third and fourth runner-up respectively. Prior to the finale, several preliminary competitions were held and the winners of the events were awarded subsidiary titles as under -

Alexandra Moraga from Meycauayan, Bulacan

A fourth-year college student and a dean’s lister. She is pursuing Bachelor of Science in International Travel and Tourism Management at Lyceum of the Philippines University-Manila. She is the reigning Miss LPU 2018. She was an active officer at LPU Environmental Society and worked as the vice-president for documentation and internal affairs. She is also part of LPU Young Filipino Advocate Critical Thinking where she works as the director for audit. She is also the newly elected Sanggunaiang Kabataan Chairwoman in her town. She ran the position because she still believes in the saying of the national hero Dr. Jose Rizal stating “Ang Kabataan ay ang pag-asa ng bayan”.

Patricia Agapito from Caloocan City, Metro Manila

A grade twelve student preparing for a degree in accountancy and business management. She aspires to be an advocate of tree planting and charity works. She joined pageants to be able to raise awareness on her advocacy. She is Miss Caloocan 2018 third runner-up.

Marshy Bristol Chaudhry from Guiginto, Bulacan

Filipina-Pakistani and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She dreams to become an inspiration by giving hopes to the unwell. She joins pageants to portray a purposeful role of a beauty queen.

Kaycee Zipagan Dacquil from Tumauini, Isabela

Her advocacy is to spread global awareness for local issues especially tourism and environmental protection. A believer of ‘I can do all things through Him who gives me strength’. An optimist and values family.

Eileen Gonzales from Cavite

A single mother who builds strength to get by every day; a feminist. She is empowered to raise awareness of gender equality. A mother who stands strong to be able to give her child the life he deserves and teaches him the values of a responsible and respectful man.

Krizoli Rosete from Quezon City, Metro Manila

Empowered to improve her life by inspiring women who had been judged by their means of making a living. An independent woman who runs through the storm in order to survive. She currently studies medical technology to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor. She believes in second chances and is driven to improve her life by becoming an inspiration.

Sunshine Bantillo from Plaridel, Misamis Occidental

Her advocacy is to sustain the environmental awareness as a Miss Global warrior to rightfully serve the country, the people and the environment. She wants to do things that are beneficial for everyone, thereby making a difference to improve the lives of the people and become a productive citizen. She is capable and obedient to the country’s laws and those of The Almighty.

Aleckxis Maryannza Chuidian from Parañaque City, Metro Manila

An international figure skater who represented the Philippines in different competitions around Asia including Asian Junior Figure Skating Challenge. She started figure skating at the very young age of 7 and has won medals for 9 years. Now she wants to pursue her passion of joining the world of beauty pageants.

Janella Manuel from Valenzuela City, Metro Manila

A freelance model and a broadcasting student of Colegio De San Juan De Letran.

May Adel Ahmed Salman from Kalibo, Aklan

A Filipina-Arab, who has spent most of her childhood years in the middle-east. A graduate of Bachelor of Science and Business Management. Crossed the seas in order to make a change for herself and for her beloved hometown.

Aeryka Chu from Manila, Metro Manila

An entrepreneur and a culinary arts student who encourages women to become a beautiful and intelligent representation of an empowered Filipina.

Princess Zaira Estrada from San Mateo, Rizal

Started modelling at the age of 15, and joined pageants and runway fashion shows with the support of her mother.

Glayzelle Ramos from Rosario, Batangas

Having graduated at De La Salle Lipa, she is currently continuing programs at the Philippine School of Business Administration. A Certified Book Keeper, Registered Post Accountant and dreams to become a lawyer. Not new to the pageants, she has earlier won the titles of Mutya Ng Rosario 2016 first runner-up, Miss Silka Batangas 2016, and Naitas Face of Tourism 2017 first runner-up.

Cheska Viñas from Marilao, Bulacan

She takes this opportunity to showcase the beauty, intelligence and ability to inspire and aspire other women that everything can be achieved with drive and determination. She dreams to empower women who had been deprived of by this generation’s beauty standard and eradicate inequality in colour and races in beauty pageants.

Regine Harriet Mae Isorena from Catanduanes

She started serving the public at age of 16 as SK Chairman encouraging the youth to care for the environment. She wants to be an advocate of Beauty for a Cause through her participation in beauty pageants.

Charlene Duran from Laguna

She wants to represent the country to be able to showcase the beauty of its people, place and culture. Pageantry has not only led her to that path but gave her a chance to be influential enough to penetrate the hearts and minds of many Filipinos. Her advocacy is to help the country achieve sustainable development on food security through proper knowledge and awareness on the importance of agriculture.

Dyan Shane Ecol Mag-Abo from Antipolo City, Rizal

An adventurous person who loves to take risks in order to achieve her goal to win in a national beauty pageant.

Stephanie Del Mundo (Ivette Del Mundo) from Pasig City, Metro Manila

A grade twelve student focused on STEM, can dance and has been awarded honours for the first and second semester. She is an optimist who enjoys charcoal drawing, calligraphy and watercolour arts.

Nicole Shaye Dichoso (Nicole Osuna Dichoso) from Olongapo, Zambales

A fifth-year architecture student and a freelance model. A feminist who believes that men and women must have equal rights and opportunities. A believer in ‘equality is not voluntary but necessary’.
