Miss World Philippines 2017 is scheduled to be held on 3rd September 2017 with Catriona Gray crowning her successor at the conclusion of the finale. The first edition of this pageant was held in 2011, it was previously held by Binibining Pilipinas. Julia Morley (owner of the Miss World Org), who personally awarded the franchise to Cory Quirino in Manila, said that she has no intention to offend Stella Araneta, the head of the Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. Her goal was to focus more on the organization’s vision, which is to raise fund for their beneficiaries.
