The Miss Universe Ukraine 2015 finale is scheduled to be held on October 18. The winner will succeed Diana Harkusha, who was the first runner-up at Miss Universe Ukraine 2014. Anna Andres was the winner initially at the Miss Universe Ukraine 2014, however, she had to resign due to personal reasons.

Harkusha represented her country at the Miss Universe 2014 pageant where she was titled as the second runner-up. Ukraine's highest placement at the Miss Universe pageant was in the year 2011 when Olesya Stefanko finished as a first runner-up.

A total number of 14 contestants are vying for the crown of Miss Universe Ukraine 2015. The names are: Alina Moroziuk, Alina Reznichenko, Anna Verhelska, Iryna Biletska, Karina Lakhyna, Kateryna Maiila, Natalia Varchenko, Oleksandra Matkovska, Olesia Pravnyk, Snizhana Tanchuk, Valeria Pachenko, Yana Brylytska, YuliaDanyliuk, YuliaTsvetkova.

Before 2006, the runner-up at Miss Ukraine used to represent Ukraine at the Miss Universe pageant. Inna Tsymbalyuk was crowned first ever Miss Universe Ukraine in 2006 who was also in the top 20 of Miss Universe Pageant. Inna was the first Ukrainian to place in the semifinals of Miss Universe pageant.

Winner of Miss Universe Ukraine 2015 will represent Ukraine at the Miss Universe Pageant later this year.
