Miss Venezuela 2015, was the sixty third edition of the Miss Venezuela pageant and was held on October 8, 2015 at the Estudio in Caracas, Venezuela. Mariam Habach was crowned as the winner, and will represent Venezuela in the upcoming Miss Universe 2016.
A total 25 contestants vied for the title of Miss Venezuela 2015. The 25 contestants were - Andrea Rosales Castillejos, Mariana Mendez Perera, Karelys Oliveros Mata, Annelia Martinez Bravo, Virginia Alvarez Martinez, Alvany Goncalves Colmenares, Maria Jose Brito Marcano, Arianny Barrios Colmenares, Annie Fuenmayor, Melany Mille Rojas, Katherine Oliveira Rios, Herlyz Ruiz Aguilar, Paula Lyyn Schmidt, Mariam Habach, Ana Cristina Diaz, Katherine Garcia Salinas, Valeria Vespoli Figuera, Genesis Saavedra Perdomo, Fabianny Zambrano Garrido, Maydeliana Diaz Parada, Fabiana Viloria Villegas, Jessica Duarte Volweider, Elizabeth Coello Otero, Gessica Fiume Turri, and Yennifer Gonzalez Molero.
In early April, Jonatham Blum (President of Cisneros Media) confirmed that the event will take place on October 8 2015 at the same venue of the Miss Venezuela 2014.
The President of the Miss Venezuela Organization declared that the winner of the Miss Venezuela 2015 will bestowed with a brand new bejeweled crown, which will be designed by the renowned jewelry designer George Wittels. Since 2010, this is happening very first time that the pattern of the crown is being modified.
The great coronation was televised live throughout Venezuela on Venevision and Venevision plus (the largest television networks of Venezuela) that also in HD for Direct TV subscribers.
At the end of the event, Mariana Coromoto Jimenez Martinez crowned Mariam as her successor.
