Miss Universe Laos is a national beauty pageant in Laos that crowns its representative to Miss Universe beauty pageant. The organization was founded in 2015 by TV Lao Network and the franchise is still held by them.

The first edition of Miss Universe Laos was held in 2017 as the country did not organize any contest before that. In 2018, the organization decided to appoint a delegate instead of organizing a pageant. The country is yet to pioneer its win in Miss Universe pageant or win a placement in the Top.

2019

Miss Universe Laos 2019 is all set to host its grand coronation night on 24th August 2019 at the Royal Palace Hotel, Vientiane where thirty contestants will compete for the national crown and the opportunity to represent Laos in Miss Universe 2019.

The winner is yet to be crowned.

2018

In 2018, no national pageant of Miss Universe Laos was held as the organization decided to appoint a delegate to represent Laos in Miss Universe 2018. On 23rd July 2018, On-anong Homsombath was appointed as Miss Universe Laos 2018 as she succeeded Miss Universe Laos 2017 Souphaphone Somvichith. On-anong Homsombath, First runner-up Miss Universe Laos 2017, graduated from Kaposvar University, Hungary 2017, majoring International relations.

2017

The first edition of Miss Universe Laos i.e. Miss Universe Laos 2017 was held at Lao National Convention Center at Vientiane on 26th August 2017 where Souphaphone Somvichith was crowned the new queen and became the first ever Miss Universe Laos. She represented Laos in Miss Universe 2017. Her court included First Runner-Up – On-anong Homsombath, Second Runner-Up – Varissara May Tangsouvanh, Third Runner-Up – Souksavanh Luanglath and Fourth Runner-Up – Malisa Sidachanh.
