Clarissa Bowers representing the United States in Miss World 2017 is 20 years old and stands tall at 183 cm. Clarissa is studying Neuroscience and aspires to become a reconstructive surgeon for children with congenital defects. Since she was 16, she has worked as an Oral Maxillofacial Surgical Assistant. Her most memorable moment in life is when she witnessed a young boy taking his first unassisted steps through the Miracle League, which is an organisation that helps children and adults with mental and physical disabilities through playing baseball. She believes that we must 'be humble but proud, kind but not weak and share love without hesitation’.
