Aldy María Bernard Bonilla (Age: 23 Years, Height: 180 cm) is the official representative of Dominican Republic in Miss Universe 2018. From Laguna Salada, Aldy holds a degree in Mass Communication and also trained as an Accountant. Being a multi-talented diva, she also developed her own candy making factory 'Dulces Dona Ligia' based on her grandmother’s recipes.
Aldy also belongs to a political pioneering family who was raised in one of the Dominican Republic’s smallest agricultural municipalities. Hoping to become her country’s first female president, Aldy wishes to promote female empowerment and gender equality through her title.
