Miss Universe Australia 2019 is all set to crown its new representative to Miss Universe 2019 as the finale is scheduled to be held on 27th June 2019, where twenty-nine gorgeous beauties will compete for the national crown and the reigning queen Miss Universe Australia 2018 Francesca Hung will crown her successor at the conclusion of the event.

Incepted in the year 1952, Australia secured its first Miss Universe crown after two decades i.e. in the year 1972 under the delegation of Kerry Anne Wells of Perth, Western Australia. Thereafter, for a couple of years, Australia didn’t win the crown but went almost close to winning in the year 2010 as Jesinta Franklin ended up being the second runner-up in the finale.

Miss Universe Australia organization, as usual, held its State finals for Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia, Victoria, and South Australia, and the winners from the State finals became the national finalists to compete in Miss Universe Australia 2019. Representatives from Tasmania and Northern Territory were also selected to compete in the national final. Besides, a wild card entry was also proclaimed by the organization, whereby Claire Parker (who was earlier crowned Miss Grand International 2015, though subsequently dethroned with her participation in Miss Universe Australia pageant), also became a national finalist.
