Luiseth Materán was appointed as Miss Universe Venezuela 2021 by the Beauty Committee, consisting of Nina Sicilia, Jacqueline Aguilera and María Gabriela Isler. The announcement was made on July 2nd in Portada’s by the presenters Ange Unda and Jose Andres Padron.
Luiseth Materán holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications with honors from the Andrés Bello Catholic University and serves as the Communications Director for CEOS, an app that provides innovative learning skills.
The diva is currently studying the art of theatre and aspires to become an actor one day. She has already starred in her first ever television series. She is also an advocate for HIV/AIDS prevention, education, gender equality and Down syndrome. ‘I Dream, I Can’ a project under her leadership seeks to inspire young girls and teenagers to become the best version of themselves.
