Last weekend, the 65th Miss Universe beauties reunited in the Philippines along with Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach and Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina. The purpose of the reunion was charity. San Miguel Corporation (SMC), in partnership with the Miss Universe Organization, invited the candidates from the 65th Miss Universe pageant back to the Philippines to help celebrate the San Miguel Foundation's 45th anniversary.
The beauties in attendance were - Noelia Freire from Spain, Jamie-Lee Faulkner from Great Britain, Kezia Warouw from Indonesia, Kiran Jassal from Malaysia, Camila Barraza from Kosovo and Dang Thi Le Hang from Vietnam. San Miguel Foundation will also be providing scholarships to grade one up to senior high school beneficiaries of Hope for Change from Smokey Mountain.
SMC President Ramon S. Ang said during one of his statements, “The Miss Universe Organization is well-known for its annual pageant but it also has a strong foundation for giving back. The contestants and titleholders are provided a platform and they work closely with various organizations to address critical issues affecting people not only in their home countries but all over the world.”
In addition to attending the San Miguel Corporation charity event, the girls also attended the dinner reception organised by the SMC. The beauties are scheduled to attend various other activities and events in the coming days.
