Amidst all the national pageants that are to be held, Portugal is making its way to the national finals with the Miss Portuguesa 2017 pageant. The finale of Miss Portuguesa 2017 pageant is scheduled to be held on 29th July 2017. The pageant will take off on 11th July 2017 in Lisbon, and after a detailed tour of the country, the pageant will conclude in Batalha with the crowning of Portugal’s representative to Miss World 2017.

The candidates of Miss Portuguesa 2017 will travel to Elvas from Lisbon, wherein the official photoshoot and videoshoot of all the 18 finalists will take place. Next stop for the girls will be Covilhã, where the contestants will take part in a Fashion Show. Next stop will be a Fashion Paradde to be held in Abrantes.

The girls will also compete through a Talent Competition which will be held in Luso (Mealhada) at Grande Hotel de Luso. The girls will also participate in a Sports Competition and another Fashion Show, which will be held in Luso. One of the finalists will also be awarded a Special Award of Miss Elegance based on the performance.

The mega finale of Miss Portuguesa 2017 will be held at the Largo do Infante D. Henrique, on July 29th. The host for the night will be renowned singer Ricardo Carriço, while fashion designer Rafael Freitas will come up with some exclusive collection for the finalists. The glamorous crown of Miss Portuguesa 2017 is being created and designed by Susana Gorjão.

At the conclusion of the finale, Cristiana Viana will crown her successor. While the winner will compete at Miss World 2017, the runners-up will go on to represent the country in other Grand Slam contests, such as Miss Supranational, Miss Grand International and Miss International.
