Miss World organization, through their official social media, announced the Top 10 finalists for the Beauty with a Purpose at the gala dinner held on 3rd March 2024 in Mumbai, India. One of these delegates will win the Best BWAP project at the finale. Let’s take a look at all the Top 10 finalists projects for the 71st Miss World.

Audrey Vanessa of Indonesia won a spot in the Top 10 with the ‘Break the Silence’ Project. Vanessa started her journey of the ‘Break the Silence’ campaign at Manado City, her hometown, with a powerful session at St. Theresia School.

“Educating 300 junior high school students and 100 high school students, their curiosity during the campaign sparked insightful questions on preventing and handling situations, revealing a strong desire to create a safer and supportive community. This experience fueled my determination to do more, prompting me to embark on a journey to other cities”, Vanessa wrote.

Through her project, Vanessa promoted the message of protecting and helping the children of the world, for all children deserve to play freely in the sun, enjoying their childhood with dreams and laughter. She advocated the message of speaking up together, and break the cycles of children sexual abuse.

On winning the Top 10 finalists spot, Audrey took to her official social media as she wrote, “Thank you Miss World for allowing me to share ‘Break the Silence’ project to the world. Being selected as a Beauty with a Purpose semi-finalist resonates deeply in my heart. This journey is not about me; but it’s for the children, it’s about breaking the silence, amplifying their voices, and igniting hope in their lives. I wholeheartedly believe that together with Miss World Organization and Miss World Sisters we can make a lasting impact. Grateful for this meaningful opportunity.”

The 71st Miss World will be crowned on 9th March 2024 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, India where Miss World 2021 Karolina Bielawska of Poland will crown her successor at the end of the event finale. The event will be live-streamed by Sonyliv India, starting at 7:30 PM local time.
