It seems like heaven itself sent its blessing to the newly crowned beauty queen.
A photo of Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach with a twin rainbow over her is now making rounds on social media. According to reports, the double rainbow appeared as Miss Universe’s float tarvased Ayala Avenue in Makati City during her grand homecoming parade.
Jonas Gaffud, one of Wurtzbach’s mentors and Mercator Artist & Model Management president, captured the moment and posted the photo on Instagram.

“She tried three times just so her dreams would come true. She cried buckets of tears after every fall...but she always knew, there’s a rainbow after the rain :-) #sweethomecoming #queenpia #MissUniverse,” the caption reads.
Thousands of fans lined up the streets of Manila, Pasay and Makati to show their support for the queen who ended the title drought for the Philippines.
The enthusiasm and craze among the crowd was clearly visible as the sidewalks and foot bridges were filled with people, some throwing confetti for Wurtzbach.
They held small Philippine flags and little pink banners which had “Pia” written on it.
